- Uniform → 3 Cuneiform
- Medially → Navicular infront of talus
- Laterally → Cuboid
- Back and Lateral → Calcaneous
- Articular → Talus

Ligaments of Foot and Ankle
Spring Ligament
- Plantar Calcaneonavicular Ligament
- On plantar surface.
- Calcaneum → Navicular tuberosity.

- Functions:
- Tear → Flat foot.
- Supports head of talus.

Long and Short Plantar Calcaneocuboid Ligaments
- Support the lateral longitudinal arch.

Deltoid Ligament
- Located on medial side of ankle.
- Strong ligament → prevents eversion.
- Lateral condylar fracture → may cause deltoid ligament tear.
- Provides medial ankle stability.

Part | Connection |
Posterior tibiotalar | Tibia to talus |
Tibiocalcaneal | Tibia to calcaneum |
Tibionavicular | Tibia to navicular |
Anterior tibiotalar | Tibia to talus |

Sustentaculum Tali
- Projection of calcaneum.
- Supports the talus.
Ligaments of Lateral Ankle

Lateral Collateral Ligament of Ankle
- Located on lateral side of ankle.
- Made of 3 bands:
- Anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL)
- Posterior talofibular ligament
- Calcaneofibular ligament

Anterior Talofibular Ligament
- Most commonly injured ligament.
- Injured in inversion injury.
- When ankle is in plantar flexion.
Lisfranc Ligament
- Ligament between bases of 1st and 2nd metatarsals.
- Tear → Gap between 1st and 2nd metatarsal.

Bifurcate ligament / Chopart ligament
- Calcaneonavicular ligament
- Calcaneocuboid ligament
- Chopart - 2 part
